You can now embed your folders anywhere on the web – in blogs, wikis and websites. This is a flexible and easy way to display your folder content right in the browser.

To take this feature for a spin, just right click on a folder that you’d like to embed and select “Get Download Widget...” option from the popup menu. In the dialog, you can select the width and height of your widget. Copy the script and paste it in your website or blog and you’re good to go! Only Account Administrator can generate the embed scripts.

Once you click on the Yammer, a popup will appear where you can enter in an optional message. Click on the Ok button to continue.

A Yammer popup will appear to confirm your link. Click the Update button to post your digitalbucket.net share link to your Yammer network.

We are excited to announce the digitalbucket.net Import/Export service. This service allows you to quickly transfer large amounts of data (1T and above) into and out of your digitalbucket.net account using portable storage devices. Digitalbucke.net will assist you to transfer your data directly onto and off of storage devices using Amazon’s high-speed internal network and bypassing the Internet. Digitalbucket.net Import/Export is often faster than the Internet transfer and more cost effective than upgrading your account.

You can use Import/Export feature for:

Good news everyone!  The digitalbucket.net iPhone app has been officially submitted to the iTunes store and now we are waiting for approval from Apple. While digitalbucket has always been a mobile device accessible application through our m.digitalbucket.net site, we were able to create a native iPhone app to help with file sharing on the go. In anticipation of the app being released, we wanted to give you a sneak peek at some of the features our app will be supporting.

 
Access and View your files on the go – Access all of your digitalbucke.net content for viewing for both account administrators and sub-accounts.

Stream Music and Videos - Listen to music and watch videos stored in your digitalbucket.net account directly on your iPhone.

Save files for offline viewing – Download and Save files into your device, and they’ll be accessible at any time.

Upload Photos and Videos– Take a photo or a video from your iPhone camera and upload it to your account.

Share files – Email public links to a friend or colleague easily.

Are you interested in creating a Widget for your website to allow visitors to upload files to your digitalbucket.net account? If so, this blog is for you.

Creating the Upload Widget is really easy. If you already have a digitalbucket.net account you can create the Upload Widget in a few easy steps.

Step 1: Create a new folder that you can distinguish from your other folders. This is mainly for management purposes, as you can certainly use one of your existing folders.

Step 2: Right click on the folder and select "Get Upload Widget" from the popup menu. See the image below.

Step 3: Enter Title, an optional instruction and the maximum file size. You can copy and paste the 2 lines of generated HTML code to your web page. Click Ok.

The Widget should appear on your webpage similar to one in the following image.

There are 5 input boxes that allow your visitors to upload up to 5 files at once. If the Upload Widget is no longer required, simply click on the Disable Widget from the above Dialog.

Hope you like this new feature. This feature is available to Individual, Business and Enterprise Customers.
