Digitalbucke.net will assist you to transfer your data directly onto and off of storage devices using Amazon’s high-speed internal network and bypassing the Internet. Digitalbucket.net Import/Export is often faster than the Internet transfer and more cost effective than upgrading your account.
Common Uses for AWS Import/Export
You can use Import/Export feature for:
· Fast Data Migration –Import/Export is often much faster than transferring large amount of data via the Internet.
· Content Distribution – Send data to your customers on portable storage devices.
· Direct Data Interchange – Have your customers send portable devices directly to AWS for import into your digitalbucket.net account.
· Offsite Backup – Send backups to digitalbucket.net for reliable and redundant offsite storage.
· Disaster Recovery – In case of emergency, use Import/Export to transfer the data to a portable storage device and deliver it to your site.
